About
The Artist's Library is a collection of PDFs, Websites, and Online Resources for all kinds of artists. This started with my own collection and curiosity. I will continue to update it and add/refine categories as I collect more. The Artist’s Library is focused on artistic fields, but there are many fields that relate to art. I believe everyone is an artist in their own right, so this document is for everyone and its topics are limitless. Feel free to share this page anywhere, and use it however you’d like. ENJOY!
Disclaimer:
I found the majority of these PDFs by searching the title of the book and then “pdf” after it in google. If it is an older or well-known book you'll have better luck finding a pdf this way. More likely it will be a bit harder to find. PLEASE BE CAREFUL when doing your own pdf searches. Beware of fake download buttons and don't pay for or sign up for anything without first investigating the website itself to see if it is legit. Use Ad-Blockers. (I have not signed up for any sites to get these documents.). If you cannot find a pdf of a book, purchase it from a reputable source or borrow it from your local library. I have included links to used/discounted book stores online below.
Your Most Valuable Resource is Your Local Library
I cannot stress enough how great libraries are. It is free to get a library card and check out as many books as you want. Call and ask a librarian if they have the book you are looking for. If they don't have it, they can order it or borrow from another library for you, for free. If you are in college/university, this is a reminder to take advantage of all the resources they provide and that you are paying for. Get the most out of your money and time there. Many libraries have their own online catalog of audio books, e books, career resources, movies/tv/music, journal databases, and more. Some even have 3D printers now. Take advantage of your library resources.
